C’est le Bouquet

It seemed obvious to me to draw a bouquet of flowers. Once I’d finished, I thought it was such a shame to stick with black and white. There are few elements of Mother Nature that symbolise colour better than flowers. I was tempted to do a watercolour. Putting a drawing in colour runs the risk of making it ugly. I’ve experienced that so many times. I’m fascinated by colour, but I’ve got so much to learn about shading, tints, combinations…
